The Association of National Advertisers (ANA) has published a comprehensive legal guide to help marketers tackle the legal challenges amid the pandemic. ANA’s general counsel and strategic law partner Reed Smith has prepared the 31-page guide at ANA’s request.
Divided into 15 separate chapters, the guide addresses the contractual arrangements and legal risks marketers could face with their partners, vendors, and regulators. Partners at Reed Smith state the potential issues marketers can face are employment, credits and refunds, performance delays among others.
ANA CEO Bob Liodice says the guide isn’t intended to provide formal and legal advice. He advised marketers to consult their legal counsel before taking any action. The guide is available for free on ANA’s website.
