In a 19-page document, the United Nations (UN) has sent out an “open brief to creatives everywhere” to help with Covid-19 communication and information. The call has gone out to creators, influencers and media owners.
The brief aims to assist the World Health Organisation with its crisis response as it works on arresting the spread of misinformation. A multitude of creative solutions will be implemented to reach audiences across demographics via digital and social media platforms.
Brands are also encouraged to donate their media spaces to raise awareness about the pandemic. Creative agencies like St Luke’s have already launched campaigns to encourage people to practice social distancing. Ikea and ITV have also released campaigns to encourage people to stay at home.
