Tech platforms will provide customised support to drive audiences to coronavirus.gov, a centralized resource from US government agencies. The move is part of the Ad council and tech companies’ response to the COVID-19 crisis and will help in making sure the right messages reach the people.
A wide plethora of tech companies and platforms including Amazon, Google, Facebook, Apple and Twitter will assist authorities in increasing the information reach. The digital and technology partners will use tools, including custom filters to emojis to influencer content, to amplify the messaging.
Other companies are also building private marketplaces for publishers to donate media inventory. “We are always at our best when we respond to challenges as a community,” vice-president, agency and brand solutions, Google and YouTube said.
