Netflix taps into live events with comedy fest

In a move to go beyond streaming, Netflix is bringing the branded comedy division, Netflix is a Joke, into live events. The festival will be produced in association with Live Nation.  

The fest will showcase Netflix’s stable of comedians, of which certain sets will be taped for distribution on Netflix later in 2020. The festival, which includes stand-ups and activations, will have over 100 live shows spread across over 20 venues in L.A.
