Disney’s new multi-year deal with Sky will now provide UK consumers with direct access to Disney+ via Sky Q. The Walt Disney Company plans to launch its ad-free streaming service in the UK and Europe on March 24.

While Disney+ will be available for users in UK and Ireland through the Sky Q platform, the streaming service will also be available on Sky’s Now TV on-demand service. The subscription price point for Disney+ streaming service is £5.99 per month.

The entertainment giant is also offering limited discounts to new customers in the UK and Europe. Disney is slated to launch more original content, including feature-length films, series, documentaries and short-form content, as it looks to be more appealing to discerning customers.
