The OTT subscription-based sports streaming service is currently available in the US and eight other countries, including Canada and Japan.

London-based DAZN has announced its plan to expand its international reach to more than 200 countries including the UK, as it takes on ESPN+.  The service is expected to launch before popular Mexican boxer Canelo Álvarez’s next fight on 2nd May. 

While the initial focus will be on boxing, the company is also pursuing streaming rights for NFL and NHL in the US. The streaming service currently focuses mostly on boxing and MMA in the American market.

The company also offers sports coverage in other international markets like the Premier League in Japan. DAZN’s CEO John Skipper said the most of world would have access to DAZN by the beginning of spring.
