LinkedIn Stories is being tested internally by the company

Although there isn’t a timeline for a full rollout, LinkedIn has confirmed that it is currently testing LinkedIn Stories. In 2018, LinkedIn began testing Stories only for university students. This version was called “Student Voices”.

LinkedIn’s Pete Davis says that, “the sequencing of the Stories format is great for sharing key moments from work events”. Davies adds that the full-screen narrative style makes sharing tips and tricks easier which allows people to work smarter.

And, that Stories will open up new messaging threads for people on the platform. Davies’ experience with Student Voices is that people that “grew up with Stories” are more comfortable initiating conversations with a full-screen ephemeral format.
