But brands should avoid Tuesdays and Wednesdays between 8 to 10 a.m.

This piece recommends marketers should send their email campaigns on Thursdays between 8 and 9 a.m. A Wordstream study found that sending email campaigns before 10.30 a.m. on Thursdays yield 25% CTR, as opposed to Tuesdays at the same time that earns a 5% CTR.

Another study by Optinmonster found Thursday is the best day to send promotional emails like newsletters. While Wednesday is good for engaging audiences by sending emails with videos or blog posts, it can also be used to launch their campaigns.

The author suggests brands should use Mondays to promote out of the campaign content and use Tuesdays to tease the campaign. Interactive content like case studies, should be sent on Thursdays, while Fridays should be kept for “fun” content like round-up of the week.
