Coca-Cola looks to woo customers with health and environment push

Coke’s efforts to tackle environmental and health issues resonated with consumers with a 7% rise in organic revenues from October to December 2019.

The environment is among the most important issues facing British public in January 2020 according to YouGov data. 54% of Brits say their decisions around food and drink are based on the environmental sustainability of a product.

Public Health preceded the environment as a concern, as with it bothering 42% of people surveyed. In order to tackle these issues, Coca-Cola has pledged to use at least 50% of recycled materials for packaging by 2030.

Coke has also been diversifying its fizzy drinks to offer healthier options like sugar-free Coca-Cola to address health concerns among the populace. The move seems to have paid off with consideration among Brits for Coca-Cola from October 2019 to January 2020 rising by +5.7 points.
