PromoteIQ was acquired by Microsoft last August.

Microsoft is set to launch two new tools, Microsoft PromoteIQ and Bing for Commerce, for ecommerce retailers. The tools are intended to let retailers improve their e-commerce and digital shopping experiences.

Microsoft PromoteIQ will bring retailers and brand partners together to promote products. It will also use intent-based data and audience insights to boost sales at scale. The other tool, Bing for Commerce, could help retailers improve search by using AI for product search, personalisation and recommendations.

Bing for Commerce will look at delivering better search results and preventing site abandonment. Home Depot has been piloting PromoteIQ since last year and observed a 35% jump in customer engagement.
