This will give users an opportunity to edit their caption before posting it.

This piece states that Instagram has rolled out a feature which will use AI to spot offensive captions, before a user posts them. A warning will be provided to the people who are about to post such content in the captions section.

A similar feature was launched in July this year but for the comments section. The users will be given the opportunity to edit their captions before going on to post it.

As per Instagram, other than “limiting the reach of bullying”, such a warning system educates people on what isn’t allowed on the platform. The feature will see a global roll out in the upcoming months.
