Pinterest has announced a new tool, Pinterest Trends, using which marketers on the platform will be able to see an overview of the most popular search terms from the last 12 months. It would also point out search terms that have peaked.
The insights from this can help brands plan their content and advertising strategies better. The coming weeks will see the tool being rolled out across desktops in the US. The company shared that the tool will “validate assumptions about emerging trends, refine search queries with the aid of auto-complete suggestions.”
Further, it will help advertisers identify a list of keywords to include or avoid while planning media campaigns. The tool is currently in beta.
