Nine of 10 consumers acknowledged loyalty to brands.

This article cites a Yotpo survey which found that brand loyalty could be making a strong comeback. For the study, over 2,000 US consumers were polled. The research found nine in 10 consumers reporting their loyalty to brands, and 24.82% of respondents identify themselves as being more brand loyal in 2019 as compared to 2018.

Additionally, 64.33% of consumers believe themselves to be as loyal to brands in 2019 as last year. Only 10.85% of consumers are less loyal to brands this year. For 77.84% of respondents, their loyalty is based on the brand’s products. For 62.96%, its price.

The report also found that 80.49% of those polled find customer reviews to be helpful in purchasing gifts. 55.61% find photos from other customers to be useful.
