This article cites a study conducted by Morning Consult which, driven by strong labour market and rising consumer confidence, indicates a strong holiday sale in the US. 34% of the respondents plan on shopping online during the holidays.
This figure is 22% other times of the year. The study highlighted that 31% of those surveyed plan on shopping in-store. 75% of Gen Z are expected to opt for an in-store experience as against 64% preferring browsing online.
As per the study, 70% of participants would spend at least $100 during Black Friday. 52% would shop during Cyber Monday and 45% on Black Friday.
