Snapchat has a 14% redemption rate where push and geo-triggered notifications reminded shoppers to redeem offers.
Snapchat’s new report highlights how its users research and purchase products, and how brands connect with them. According to Snapchat, it reaches 90% of 13-24 year-olds and 75% of 13-34 year-olds in the US, making Snapchat an ideal platform to engage millennials and Gen Z.
The report reveals that 39% of “Snapchatters” send Snaps to their friends for purchase advice, while 35% send Snaps about products they are interested in buying. Online to offline sales, show 7 times more return on ad spend.
65% of them posted a story of a product they purchased and 46% sent snaps to the given brands. Additionally, over 50% of Gen Z Snapchatters will spend about $250 on Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales.
