YouGov surveyed 18 to 34-year-olds to identify the most positively talked about brands in their social circle.

The survey revealed that the streaming platform Netflix remained the number one brand among millennials for the third year in a row. The top ten brands list is populated by tech companies like Apple and ‘disrupter’ brands like app-only bank Monzo.

Online rental and tourism broker Airbnb secured the second place in the list of most positively talked about brands from the ninth position last year. While social networking platform Instagram secured the fourth position, Apple was ranked at number five.

Budget brands also found a spot on the list with Fast food giant McDonald’s ranked the third most positively talked about brand. This piece states that three-quarters of millennials would happily switch shops for greater speed and convenience.
