Search engine giant, Google launched its redesigned Google shopping feature offering personalised shopping experiences to its users, with local inventory and easier check out in the US. Google is hoping the new features will allow it to compete with Amazon and has partnered up with local retailers.

The cost-per-action program called Google Shopping Action allows retailers to get more visibility on Google. “Buy on Google” will also allow users to checkout from Google and pay through the payment information stored in their google accounts.

Consumers will also be able to track product prices by tagging products and receive notifications when the prices are going down. The company also said that it had marked more than 2 billion products with local retailers which users will be able to buy online or pickup in-store.
