The CTA will allow consumers to have a direct conversation through Stories ads via a “Swipe up” prompt.

Facebook has rolled out an expansion of its “Send Message” CTA to include Stories ad across Facebook, Instagram and Messenger. The feature will let businesses have direct conversations with consumers from Stories ads through a prompted “Swipe up” option.

The redirect will be to Messenger, without leaving the app. Facebook presently serves more than a billion daily active Stories users. Also, three million advertisers have already bought Stories ads.

With the addition of the new CTA buttons and tools, businesses can leverage more opportunities to take advantage of the increasing engagement. This feature will align with Facebook’s “C-Commerce” or “conversational commerce” push, which focuses on the rising value of messaging as connective platform between brands and consumers.
