Review Rich Results now require “name” property

Google has updated Review Rich Results to “address” abusive implementation and impose limits to where rich results trigger. The update entails that the display of rick results will be limited.

As part of the update, self-serving reviews will no longer be displayed in featured snippets. It is now also a mandatory requirement to have the name property in featured snippets.

This is relevant for publishers that use reviews structured data. The article advises updating structured data to continue to show rich results for that data.
