Twitter sees gains in brand loyalty in the US in 2019

Brand Keys polled over 55,000 US consumers.  

This article cites a survey conducted by Brand Keys which found that Facebook dropped to 24th position in 2019 from 8th place in 2018 in brand loyalty. Twitter moved up to the 11th position having been in the 23rd spot last year.

Categories such as automotive, retail and restaurant observed considerable gains in loyalty. Where Hyundai took the top spot in automotive brands and moved up four spots to reach the 10th rank in 2019. Chick-fil-A led the restaurant category being at the 13th rank (24th in 2018).

Moving up by a position and heading the retail category was Trader Joe’s, currently at the 9th place. The report states that digital brands overall lost their dominance as these categories “often” adopted digital media’s loyalty and engagement strategies.
