The new label currently offers “janitorial and sanitation products”.

Amazon’s newly launched B2B private label, AmazonCommercial, lets buyers purchase toilet paper and paper towels in bulk. As per an Amazon spokesperson, the private label includes “a line of professional-grade products created with business customers in mind”.

Access to competitor’s activity on its platform is one of Amazon’s biggest advantages. Knowing what the top selling products and categories are is an added advantage. Sucharita Kodali, VP and principal analyst, Forrester Research stated that, “Amazon is going to find a way to basically source those [products] for less or, where possible, make its own version”.

Amazon’s other private labels include Amazon Basics which retails a range of household goods. Under its private label, Solimo, Amazon provides cleaning items, tissues, paper towels and garbage bags among other products.
