Two in ten executives are unware of what “PR” stands for.
Releasd surveyed over 300 senior executives across various industries. The research suggests that about 40% executives don’t believe that PR would add “good value” to business. 33% of executives think that it would “some value” to the business. Just 4% of those surveyed trust that it will add “little value” to business.
The research highlighted that almost two in ten executives do not know what “PR” stands for. For 3% of the respondents, it stands for “Press Release” and 4% understand it to be “Publicity Remit”.
About 19% of CXOs and 38% director-level executives do not have a “good” understanding of PR. 80% of executives have a deeper understanding of PR and believe that it would add good value to business.
