Businesses can now see which words are driving traffic for competitors.
Alexa.com, Amazon’s competitive analysis software, has introduced new tools to better serve brand’s SEO and SEM needs. The new Site Overview service allows for audience analysis about any or competing sites. It also informs businesses of keyword opportunities, this means finding the keywords being used by competitors to drive traffic.
With the new Audience Insights functionalities, the categories of interest for a site’s audience will now be visible to marketers. They would also have information about the other sites being visited by audiences in those categories.
Competitive analysis demonstrates a percentage of overall traffic coming in from search engines to a particular site as compared to other competing websites. It will also display the top search terms for a site and competitors.
