Demand for more visual content has marketers hiring more photographers and videographers.
Most marketers always use a visual when posting to a digital marketing channel, according to a Libris survey. 75% of marketers said that they had better results when using visual content in their digital marketing campaigns.
But the author says the quality of the visual content may be suffering as 89% of marketers consider speed crucial. Even as sourcing video content was identified as the biggest challenge by 57% of respondents, only 17% marketers were happy with their video.
There has been a rise of 13% in the number of content teams hiring staff to focus on visual content compared to last year. While 65% of marketers use images from stock websites, 64% of the respondents claims to have their own photographers and videographers too.
