Today's voting intention poll for the Sun has topline figures of CON 42%, LAB 39%, LIB DEM 11%.

We also asked for the first reactions to former Minister of State for Borders and Immigration Phil Woolas MP being ejected from Parliament after an election court found he had lied about a rival in his election leaflets. 71% thought that the courts were right to expel Woolas, with only 7% thinking they had made the wrong decision.

There was very little sympathy for the argument that the ruling risked stifling free political debate during elections. Only 9% thought the law was wrong and a restriction on free speech, with 74% supporting the law.
