Today's voting intention figures for our daily poll for the Sun newspaper are CON 41%, LAB 39%, LDEM 11%.

We also asked about David Cameron's performance at the EU summit.

  • 31% thought that Cameron was justified in describing the 2.9% increase in the EU budget as a 'success'
  • 42% thought that Cameron could have achieved a freeze in the budget if he had negotiated harder.

Our fortnightly tracker on voting intention in next year's referendum on adopting the AV electoral system shows the largest lead yet for the NO campaign.

  • On today's figures 32% would vote in favour of adopting AV
  • 43% would vote against.
  • Our tracker has shown a slow drift away from AV since we began tracking back in June when the YES campaign was ahead by ten points. Today is the first time the NO campaign has recorded a lead of above ten points.
