Voting Intention: Conservatives 41%, Labour 42% (30-31 Aug)

Latest YouGov Westminster voting intention figures

The latest YouGov/Times voting intention survey sees voting intention figures for Labour and the Conservatives unchanged, at 42% and 41% respectively. The Labour lead over the Conservatives remains at one point.

Elsewhere, Liberal Democrat voting intention stands at 6% (from 8% last week) while 10% of people would vote for other parties (unchanged).

The contest over who would make the best Prime Minister remains close, with 37% of Brits preferring Theresa May compared to 32% for Jeremy Corbyn (a further 31% can't choose between the two).
