As the Brits comes to a close for another year, we’ve been asking Director’s cut members about their most iconic moment in the history of the Brits, over on the Director’s Cut app.

Amongst members, the most defining moment of the BRITS goes to Jarvis Cocker, and his crashing of Michael Jackson’s performance all the way back in 1996. However, when we look at the results by different subgroups, some interesting differences appear. Those under the age of 24 are most likely to agree that Madonna falling off the stage in 2015 was the most iconic moment of the BRITS, closely followed by Adele’s rousing performance of Someone Like You in 2011. Interestingly, of those who were planning to watch last night’s ceremony, a whopping 89% agree that The Spice Girls performance (featuring Geri Halliwell’s Union Jack dress) in 1997 is the defining moment of the BRITS history. But what about you? Do you agree? And what did you make of last night’s ceremony? Let us know in the comments below.
