Trespass

Overall, MediaLab panellists say: GO SEE IT!

From renowned director Joel Schumacher (Batman Forever; Falling Down) comes this fast-paced psychological thriller starring high-profile stars Nicolas Cage and Nicole Kidman as a wealthy husband and wife who must watch as their family estate is raided in a terrifying kidnap attempt. Held to ransom by a gang of criminals, the couple and their teenage daughter struggle to survive the ordeal with their family intact, in a plot that promises to deliver a gripping cycle of deception and betrayal. But does Trespass keep its promise or fail to do so?
“This looks like a fast paced, action packed movie with a good story line, a great cast, fast paced and a promising storyline” “Good storyline with plenty of action. Top draw of actors playing the characters. I like the twist it has in the trailer” “Good trailer, showing just enough suspense, but not too much to give the story away” “Great trailer. This looks like an expensive movie in a lovely setting. The trailer gives a good view of what the story line is about. It inspires me to see the movie” “This is my type of movie action, suspense, mystery. A movie that will keep me guessing to the end and hopefully a twist in the storyline”

Twilight: Breaking Dawn - Part I

Overall, MediaLab panellists say: DON'T BOTHER/GO SEE IT! - TIE

The fantasy saga juggernaut that is Twilight continues in ‘Breaking Dawn - Part 1’ - the first of two hotly-awaited adaptations of Stephenie Meyer's bestselling book of the same name - as Vampire Edward (Robert Pattinson) and his beloved Bella finally walk down the aisle to the delight of some and outright dismay of others. As Bella realises she is soon to give birth to the couple's first child, a terrifying chain of events is set in motion that reignites old wounds between enemies, involving once again the Quileute werewolves and Volturi vampires, as the story moves towards its final conclusion. Will you go to see how it all ends?
“Huge fan of this series and can't wait to see this film”“Looks amazing and so true to the books, can't wait to see it” “Looks very exciting, with a great storyline that follows on from previous films”“Never really been a fan of the Twilight films, however, I must say I've been very impressed by the trailer. Looks like a romantic, exciting and original film. Was not expecting what I saw...seems like a fantastic new and original story line” “Looks very good, gripping fantasy that will leave audiences wanting more” “Although not normally a fan of twilight and I haven’t seen the other films, the trailer makes this film look quite good” “The currently very successful 'vampire' theme - seems that the younger women love this - the guy is good looking a 'monster' with a conscience. Good, creepy fun!”

Arthur Christmas

Overall, MediaLab panellists say: GO SEE IT!

From the makers of Wallace and Gromit comes this brand new animated adventure just in time for Christmas. Scottish actor James McAvoy plays Arthur, Santa's youngest son (Santa is played by the equally famous favourite Jim Broadbent), is the clumsy relation in the fine-tuned and highly technical operation that is present-delivering night on the Father Christmas spaceship. When it is discovered that a child has been missed off the list, an adventure begins to make sure that they don't wake up to an empty stocking come Christmas Day.Is this a cheeky take on the traditional tale, or unlikely to raise some cheer with you this Christmas?
“Great fun for the Christmas season” "A classic Christmas film, looks very funny, and could be one of those true "for the family" films. It's something that I'll be watching to get me into that Christmas mood” “Looks fun and interesting! A good family-feel-good Christmas movie!” “Looks funny and with a quality plot sure to raise a few laughs along the way” “Looks like an original Christmas movie - a rarity!”
