From Margaret Thatcher's legacy and the royal baby to red trousers and bad sex, YouGov's panel members gave opinions on a lot of topics in 2013 – but which stories got the most attention?

The list is compiled from the most clicked on stories published on YouGov.co.uk from January 1st to December 30th. It includes both stories reporting YouGov findings and analyses from our commentators.
