What do you think is an acceptable level of house decoration at Christmas?

In a recent survey, we showed respondents the following images and asked them to choose the one that they think is an appropriate level of house decoration during the Christmas period.

Less than one in ten (7%) people think the picture below is an appropriate level of Christmas decoration. However, men (10%) are more likely than women (4%) to choose this as the highest level of decoration:

Almost a third (31%) of Brits say just a wreath on the door is an appropriate level of Christmas house decoration. Londoners are most keen on this, with almost four in ten (39%) choosing this as acceptable:

The decoration below is the most popular among the British public, with a plurality (36%) saying that this is the most acceptable. Women (38%) are more likely than men (33%) to think that this is the best level of decoration:

15% of Brits believe that the decoration below is the most appropriate for houses during the Christmas period:
